From domestic violence to self-sufficiency

As a voice against domestic violence and an advocate for victims for more than 30-years, LifeWire’s programs and services have provided more than 115,000 victims of abuse with a path from domestic violence and homelessness to self-sufficiency. Our crisis line is often the gateway to our services and where the healing process begins. Our shelters provide safety and community for clients and their children. Our professional counselors and advocates help survivors by providing support, guidance and encouragement.

Last year King County employees pledged $1.56 million dollars to 700 nonprofit organizations! Employees can designate LifeWire to receive donations through payroll deduction and direct checks during the King County Annual Giving Drive in the fall.

Currently showing is a collection formally owned by a Seattle philanthropist. This collection "Art For Charity," includes work created by Picasso, Erte, Chagall and Cheret. These pieces have been generously donated by a couple who have requested that the proceeds of these items benefit LifeWire. You can view the collection here.
